一句话总结
GeekTab 没有服务器，不收集、不上传任何数据。你的快捷图标、倒计时、壁纸、自定义 CSS/JS 全部只存在你这台电脑的浏览器里。
哪些数据存放在本地
通过 chrome.storage.local 保存在你的设备上，只有你这台机器能读到：
- 你添加的快捷图标（名称、网址、图标）
- 倒计时（标题、日期、颜色、图标）
- 壁纸设置与上传的图片（压缩后本地保存）
- 自定义 CSS / JS 文本
- 界面偏好（主题、语言、搜索引擎、是否显示秒）
卸载扩展即全部删除；设置里的「导出」可以随时带走，不需要联网。

没有分析 SDK、没有广告网络、没有崩溃上报、没有远程代码加载。扩展不读取你在其他标签页的浏览内容。
你会主动打开的站外跳转
快捷图标点击后跳转到你填写的网址；「桌面应用」类图标通过自定义协议（如 vscode://）唤起本机程序。这两者都由你自己添加，扩展只负责“点一下”。
儿童与第三方
本扩展不面向 13 岁以下儿童收集任何信息，也不向第三方共享数据——因为没有数据可共享。

The short version
GeekTab has no server. It does not collect or upload anything. Shortcuts, countdowns, wallpapers and custom CSS/JS live only in your browser on this device.
What is stored locally
- Shortcuts you add (name, URL, icon)
- Countdowns (title, date, colours, icon)
- Wallpaper settings and any image you upload (compressed, stored locally)
- Custom CSS / JS text
- UI preferences (theme, language, search engine, seconds display)
Removing the extension deletes all of it. “Export” gives you a JSON copy at any time, offline.

No analytics, no ad networks, no crash reporting, no remote code. The extension does not read the content of your other tabs.
Outbound navigation you initiate
Tiles open the URL you entered. “Desktop apps” tiles use custom protocols (e.g. vscode://) to ask the OS to open a local app. Both exist only because you added them.
Children and third parties
No data is collected from anyone, including children under 13, and nothing is shared with third parties — there is nothing to share.
